One of my best friends just told me she’s planning on getting married to a guy next May, that she just met this February.
And I flipped shit. She’s 21 years old, literally just met this guy less than 3 months ago, and they are both openly talking about getting married in 1 year. I tried for a really long time to talk her out of it, and to at least wait another year or two, but she won’t, unless something happens between now and next May. And the weird thing is, everyone is acting like I’M the weird one. Both of their families think it’s a great idea, and don’t think it’s happening too fast. LIKE, WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS, 1956? She already knows where she wants to have the wedding, who her bridesmaids are, and where the fucking alter is going to be placed. I hate everything about it. I feel like our lives are never going to be the same because of this, and honestly, it’s the worst part about growing up so far.
I had a dream last night that I was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and Tina Fey was the other guest, and they kept asking me to make things out of ice cream?
It was awesome.
